Bolton Wanderers 1-1 Hull City

Hull City claimed a vital point at Bolton Wanderers as they cling onto their Barclays Premier League lives.

Gretar Steinsson blasted home after 25 minutes at the Reebok Stadium to give Bolton the lead against the run of play.

Hull, anxious to get out of the bottom three, looked lively for most of the first half but on-loan striker Manucho squandered a host of chances.

Hull eventually capitalised as Boaz Myhill started a counter-attack by rolling out to Richard Garcia.

The ball was sent forward and Danny Shittu looked to have it covered but the defender and Jussi Jaaskelainen got their lines of communication mixed up and Craig Fagan nipped in to score.
