City consider Hart loan

Mark Hughes is debating whether to allow Manchester City keeper Joe Hart to go out on a season's loan.

Hart is keen to get regular matches with the World Cup looming in 2010 after losing his place to Shay Given.

The stopper was used in City's UEFA Cup campaign last season and made 33 appearances overall but is keen for more regular action.

NO DOUBT
Hughes told the club's website: "Joe is frustrated and obviously wants to play.

"We will look at his situation in the coming weeks and it might be to both Joe's and the club's benefit if he did go out on loan.

"He'd be playing on a regular basis and, given his ability, he would no doubt improve his standing in the game and help his development."

Hart, who is in the England Under-21 squad for the European Championships, has been linked with a loan move to newly-promoted Birmingham City.
